?? Medical & Dental Front Desk Receptionist??
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and patient-centered Medical & Dental Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our busy, growing healthcare practice. What You'll Do
As a vital member of our front office team, you will:
Greet patients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and a positive attitude
Answer and manage a high volume of phone calls with exceptional customer service
Schedule, confirm, cancel, and adjust appointments to support efficient provider workflows
Accurately enter, update, and manage patient information within EMR and scheduling systems
Coordinate daily provider schedules to ensure smooth patient flow and minimal wait times
Assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and other medical/dental administrative processes
Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations
Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff to address patient needs
Support general front-desk, clerical, and office operations as needed
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
1-2 years of experience as a medical, dental, or healthcare receptionist
Experience with EMR systems and appointment scheduling software
Familiarity with prior authorizations and insurance-related tasks
Strong data entry, organizational, and multitasking skills
Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient privacy, accuracy, and professionalism
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Previous experience in a dental or multi-specialty medical office
Strong attention to detail and adaptability with changing schedules
Self-motivated team player with a positive, patient-first mindset
Comfortable using office technology and healthcare software
Interest in professional growth within a healthcare organization
Work Environment & Schedule
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position in a fast-paced, patient-focused healthcare practice.
Office Hours:
Sunday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Monday-Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Some Sunday availability is required. Flexible scheduling options may be available, including the possibility of four 10-hour shifts, based on practice needs.

This is a Permanent position based out of Spring Valley, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
