Job Description

Position: UI/UX Designer

Location: Columbus, OH (100% Onsite)

Duration: 3+ Months Contract

Interview: Onsite (Mandatory)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Full Stack UI/UX Designer to design and develop modern, intuitive user interfaces while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in UI/UX design, front-end technologies, and ASP.NET Core MVC , with a user-centered approach to solving complex design problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and engineering teams to gather and define UI requirements
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and user-friendly interfaces for complex applications
  • Conduct user research, testing, and iterate designs based on feedback
  • Work across all phases of product development (discovery, design, implementation)
  • Create and maintain Design Systems for consistency and reusability
  • Ensure seamless UI handoff to development teams
  • Collaborate with backend developers for front-end integration
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming and sprint planning
  • Ensure UI designs follow best practices, accessibility, and security standards
  • Drive UI/UX improvements and contribute to product roadmap

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in UI/UX design (wireframes, prototypes, user journey maps)
  • Hands-on experience with Figma or similar design tools
  • Front-end expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Fluent UI
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core MVC and C#
  • Strong understanding of site architecture and navigation design
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Ability to design and deliver products end-to-end in cross-functional teams
  • Experience creating workflow diagrams and conversational flows

Preferred Qualifications:

  • UI/UX Certification
  • Experience with secure UI design practices in ASP.NET MVC applications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Must present a portfolio showcasing UI/UX work during the interview
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
