Job Description

As a Shipping Coordinator you will be part of a fast-paced, growing vintage luxury company. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Shipping, you will be responsible for scheduling carriers, resolving problems concerning transportation and logistics, entering information into the ERP/EDI system and working with our Wholesale department to resolve customer issues

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create Export Documents for Overseas Shipments such as Custom Invoices, NAFTA, Commercial Invoices/ Pro Forma, and Declaration.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure there is consistency among all data sources between merchant, vendor, operations, warehouses, and inventory management systems
• Schedule trucks for pickup appointments upon customer request.
• Assist with tracking shipments and providing promptly communicate regarding service issues
• identify issues and update teams on shipment progress
• Print necessary shipping documents such as Bill of Ladings, P.O.D.’s, and Master Bills.
• Assist in reconciling inventory and customer shipping discrepancies.
• Help load / unload trucks.
• Order shipping supplies when needed.
• Responsible for ensuring all transactions are recorded on a daily basis

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in shipping and logistics
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel required
• Prior experience working with International Shippers, UPS, FedEx and USPS
• Demonstrated experience with inventory management.
• Working knowledge of EDI setup and docs.
• Competent in working with routing guides.
• Well versed in UPC creation and product catalogs.
• Ability to work with all levels within the organization
• Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up skills
• Passion for details, deadlines, and teamwork
• Strong assessment skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Highly motivated, proactive and problem solver, focused on results.

College degree preferred
