Springfield Behavioral of Pennsylvania, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our outpatient team in Springfield, PA .
As a Psychiatrist, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality behavioral health care to a diverse patient population, supported by the scale, stability, and resources of Optum.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Diagnose mental health conditions using evidence‑based tools and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinicians to support shared patients
• Serve as a collaborating physician for PMHNP colleagues, offering clinical guidance and oversight as needed

Qualifications:
• Clear, active and unrestricted Physician license (MD/DO) in the state of Pennsylvania
• Board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
• Active DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years of outpatient behavioral health experience
• Experience treating patients across the lifespan (children through geriatrics)
• Comfort using EHR systems and standard productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS or similar)
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $225,000 to $393,500 , including base pay and bonus. Pay is based on factors such as local labor markets, education, and experience, and may increase over time based on performance and productivity. A comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions are available, subject to eligibility requirements.
