Title: Preconstruction Manager/Senior Estimator

Location: Nashville, TN

Salary: Up to $140,000 base

Client: Local Commercial GC

Responsibilities:

• Lead preconstruction and estimating efforts on negotiated and pursuit projects
• Manage project estimates through drawing phases and client deliverables
• Support pursuits and RFP responses alongside leadership
• Coordinate internally with operations and project management teams
• Manage subcontractor pricing and relationships
• Help implement and transition the estimating platform
• Mentor and develop a junior estimator
• Support the growth and structure of the preconstruction department
• Projects - Institutional, Historic Renovation, Hospitality, Multifamily, 1st Gen Tenant Fit Out, Traditional Commercial, Light Healthcare, Light Industrial

Requirements:

• Mid career estimating or preconstruction professional
• Experience working for a commercial general contractor
• Strong communication skills with clients, trades, and internal teams
• Ability to manage multiple project types and sectors
• Comfortable working across varied markets rather than a single specialization
• Experience managing estimates independently
• 8-15 years experience ideal
