We are seeking a polished, organized, and personable Medical Receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and genuinely enjoys helping patients feel cared for from the moment they call or walk through the door.

Position Overview

The Medical Receptionist serves as the face of Gotham Footcare and plays a critical role in creating a seamless luxury patient experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining warmth and composure.

This is ideal for someone who is proactive, dependable, tech-savvy, and comfortable balancing patient service with administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling requests
• Verify insurance information and collect copays/payments
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EHR system
• Coordinate communication between providers, patients, and staff
• Respond to patient questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Help maintain smooth patient flow throughout the day
• Assist with administrative and front desk operations as needed
• Support the practice’s luxury patient experience standards at all times

Qualifications

• Previous medical receptionist or healthcare front desk experience preferred
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred (NextGen experience is a plus)
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Comfortable using computers, scheduling platforms, and office software
• Bilingual is a plus

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM
• Midtown Manhattan location: 5th Avenue & 42nd Avenue
