Randstad Staffing is hiring for a direct hire Maintenance Electrician for a well-established food manufacturer in New Hope, MN. This position is vital to the facility's success, focusing on high-level troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and technical leadership. Shift: Weekend Days or Weekend Nights (training on 1st for 3-4 weeks) Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday Hours: 6am to 6pm OR 6pm to 6am Pay: $36-37 per hour Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time Employment Education & Experience (Required)
• Two-year Electrical Technician degree OR one of the following:
o Completed apprenticeship in electro-mechanical, electrical, or controls fields. o Relevant Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) training.
o 3+ years of hands-on experience in a controls, automation, or electrical role. • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Willingness to obtain CPR Certification.
Preferred Skills & Licenses
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC, VFDs, and touch screens.
• Background in food manufacturing facilities.
• OSHA 10 Certification and experience operating forklifts/scissor lifts. • Previous leadership experience and communication skills. Responsibilities
•
Troubleshooting & Repair: Maintain and repair complex packaging and production equipment, including Extruders, Dryers, High-speed Cartoners, Baggers, Palletizers, and HVAC systems.

Collaboration: Partner with Operations and Maintenance teams to eliminate repetitive equipment issues and execute predictive maintenance programs.
•
Mentorship: Learn plant operating systems and provide essential electrical and controls training to production staff.
•
System Integrity: Maintain all systems to
National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and manage current backup files for all equipment control systems.
•
Documentation: Update and maintain plant schematics and documentation; utilize schematics for precision troubleshooting.
•
Project Support: Assist in the development and implementation of capital projects.
