This is a unique opportunity to use your skills as an Attorney without having to deal with the daily grind of litigation. Top candidates will possess superior communications skills, an enthusiastic and outgoing personality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, growing organization. You will be able to analyze legal questions, respond to client needs in a caring, empathetic way, and assign clients to attorneys in our practice most suited to help them.

Sales / customer service background is a big plus.

This position provides a base salary plus commissions.

What does our Intake Attorney do?

· Participation in regular and consistent marketing/professional development activities and pro bono services. Continue networking efforts to produce at least one origination each month.

· Handle consultations for prospective clients between the hours of 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday- Friday, possibly in person consults in the Denver Metro area.

· Maintain your Colorado licensure and to become knowledgeable about Colorado law.

· Generate a portion of the work through your networking efforts and professional reputation. Your originations should average approximately 1 new client per month.

Education and Experience

· 1+ Years as a Licensed Colorado Attorney

· Proficient in software necessary to perform intake attorney tasks, including the Microsoft Office Suite, Centerbase, Sales Force.

· Proficient with the Colorado Courts E-Filing System

· Proficient in legal research

· Sales experience a plus

· Maintenance of your Colorado licensure and knowledgeable about Colorado law

Knowledge/Skills:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new programs

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Intake Attorney encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to normal business office environment. The ability to share workspace, travel by car or train, dress in proper business attire, attend meetings and meet deadlines are all requirements of this position. Attorneys are also frequently allowed or expected to work remotely. The employee is expected to handle consults, including consults related to estate planning purposes, for prospective clients between the hours of 8 AM- 5 PM, Monday- Friday.

Compensation: $85,000-$100,000 - This position provides a base salary plus commissions. Success will yield a 6-figure income!!
