Job Description

Verbind Partners is seeking a polished, detail-oriented Housekeeper to support a formal private residence based in Century City, Los Angeles. This is a full-time, live-out position offering long-term stability for an experienced candidate who takes pride in maintaining a beautifully presented, well-run home.

The household operates with high standards, strong systems, and an emphasis on discretion, privacy, and consistency. They value professionalism, initiative, and individuals who are naturally service-driven in their approach. While the environment is structured and well-managed, expectations around presentation and attention to detail are exceptionally high.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining immaculate cleanliness and organization throughout the residence, supporting daily household operations, and assisting during periods when the family is in residence. This role will report directly to the Executive Housekeeper and requires someone who is comfortable taking direction while also working proactively and independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization
• Perform museum-quality cleaning on fine furnishings,
• Manage laundry and wardrobe care including handwashing, ironing, steaming
• Care for fine linens, designer garments, and specialty fabrics
• Refresh and reset household spaces daily and at end of day
• Assist with kitchen upkeep,
• Support in-residence periods, family visits, and household events as required
• Assist with travel preparation including packing and unpacking

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working within a formal private household
• Familiarity with fine furnishings, luxury finishes, and formal service standards
• Highly discreet, polished, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently while collaborating within an established team
• Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to support occasional weekend coverage
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written
• Professional references and background check required

Schedule & Package

• Schedule: Five days per week (occasional weekends)
• Primary hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Alternate schedule (when family in residence): 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
