Front Desk Agent (Hotel- Miami Beach)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Front Desk Agent to be the face of our hotel, greeting guests with warmth and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service, ensuring that all guests have a seamless and enjoyable stay experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel.
- Check guests in and out efficiently while managing room assignments.
- Handle incoming calls, reservations, and guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Provide information and services regarding hotel facilities, local attractions, and transportation.
- Resolve guest issues and concerns with a positive attitude, aiming to exceed expectations.
- Process payment transactions securely and maintain accurate billing records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and a tailored guest experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or customer service coursework is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in using hotel software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
