The Equipment Maintenance Technician performs all preventive maintenance and repair activities on Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) systems and related components. Also, the technician performs preventive maintenance and repair activities on wafer characterization equipment and reports findings to the Equipment Manager. The Equipment Maintenance Technician performs basic equipment maintenance tasks and has general responsibilities of basic trouble-shooting and repair of MBE equipment. The Maintenance Technician will be required to have a high level of initiative and be able to work under supervision of a senior or specialist equipment technician. Good communication, organization, and documentation skills are essential for effective job performance.
